Well there may not be a way that you can hook up AIM because of the firewall they have up. Since you dont have authorization you cant exactly change it either... Sorry I dont know what else to say but good luck.

What happened to creating your own custom idle? I remember holding alt and clicking on file or something and you could make it so that it would say you were idle for X amount of hours. I tried to do that recently and noticed that it wasnt there. Did they take it out?

try going into system preferences (if you can I know school computers have all kinds of blocks and crap) and try going under sharing and mess around with the firewall stuff. I bet there is some way that you can make it so you can let certin programs in and out of the firewall. Although since your us...

It was working fine up until the update I installed. I hate to use AIM or anything else because they suck compared to Adium. I have it custimized to my liking.
