My colleagues both have Hiptops. They are definitely mobile devices... it's true that you can have a more normal conversation on them, but the interaction is still a lot more ephemeral, and the fact that with a hiptop you are "always online" is different from being online with a computer i...

Hmm... I'm not quite sure what you mean, so I'll just summarize what I've done: I quit Safari when I first installed SafariGrowl using the installer included with Growl 0.7.2. After Safari had crashed numerous times with it installed, I uninstalled SafariGrowl by removing the folder, and then restar...

I removed GrowlSafari after posting the message and indeed Safari has remained stable all afternoon. Of course the nature of random crashes makes it difficult to prove it one way or the other, but so far, the culprit really does appear to be GrowlSafari. I'll let you know if I find otherwise (if Saf...

GrowlSafari causing Safari to crash

I installed GrowlSafari after upgrading to Growl 0.7.2, and immediately found that Safari was crashing incessantly. Almost hourly, in fact. Of course I'm not positive that GrowlSafari is at fault, but it seemed like Safari was quite stable before I installed GrowlSafari. I also have Inquisitor and S...
