asking is not an option at the moment...they have me blocked. if im blocked are they still able to receive msgs from me? can they still see me when im online?

This person had a music note in their display name which showed up as an upright rectangle box. I would only be able to see it once i opened the chat window...

I have a contact who uses adium on mac but i use msn on windows. their personal message line shows their name with ☊ -

they havnt been online in a while and that only shows up as a symbol or icon when they sign in...does anyone know what thats supposed to be?
