The proxy did not work for me at all. I did the info thing on the website (I didn't agree to any new terms...?), and it work's just fine.

Update 3: I've discovered that if I remake my account every time I open the program, it solves the eternal "Connecting" status and allows me to message anyone. However, today it has prompted me for my password 4 times since 6 am, and the password is saved. I'm thinking this might be someho...

My friends on FB that are away show up as such.

No help, but I've noticed this over the past 2 versions. My FB contacts show up anywhere it feels like putting them.

Update 2: So I right clicked into my profile on my visible status, typed in my screen name in the nickname section, and now it lets me message anyone (as near as I can tell). Still says connecting as the status. Still can't leave offline messages.

Update: I can get it to sign on, but it doesn't allow me to message everyone, including people who are available. Still says connecting.

Edit: It seems that if it's someone I frequently talk to, I cant message them, but they can message me. Whaat.

Ok so this has a lot of things involved with it. Last week I know there was some major problems people had with AIM for a few hours. In the past week, my friend has had some errors leaving me offline messages, and 2 days ago I started having this problem as well (it says it's unable to send the mess...

The little radar thing? That means they're connected via mobile phone. I don't have that icon anymore, it's this eye thing.

If you message them, it should come up and say it went to their mobile device, etc.

Did this get fixed? I think it might have, but I'm a bit wary of turning off the "everyone is blocked not on my list" approach, and the ticket isn't closed.

It's on all styles, so that doesn't change anything, but I'm glad it's going to be fixed soon!

Any idea on when it'll be released? I'm a bit OCD and it's driving me bonkers. I just installed the new one and now I regret it.

Do you know if the problem with blocking people was resolved? I've kept everyone not on my list blocked, and I haven't kept up to date with that issue.

I have people flat harassing me, so it's kind of pointless to even sign in with Adium if the block doesn't remotely work.
