For some reasons, i don't know why sometimes whn i sign into adium, some past conversation will pops out.

(eg. i chatted with a friend a day before yesterday, and when i sign in today, part of the conversation will pops out...)

any idea guys?

So, here is the problem... Me and my girlfriend both use Adium on MAC. (MSN) When my girlfriend log into hotmail (www.hotmail.com) She will become unavailable (offline) from my Adium. But if I sign into ebuddy with my hotmail account, then I can see her as online even she is signed into www.hotmail....

I was trying to change my name by going into adium -> preferences -> accounts -> select my email and click edit -> personal tab -> then type the name i want in the display name box i have also went to adium -> preferences -> personal tab -> then type the name i want in the name box... but other peop...

i have set up growl for adium, that when someone sign in, a growl notification will pop up.. but strangely, sometimes a notification will pop up, but sometimes don't.... and it is really random... i have looked at the faq page already and tried everything from there... but the problem's there... any...

what does it actually do?
can someone give me an example?
should i disable this option?
