Aside from other clients I also tried Pidgin, which all seems to work just fine. It looks like an Adium specific problem.

Were you able to fix this? I have the exact same issue. I tried the following: - Changing my password - Re-adding the account - A fresh set of preferences - A different os x user account - An older version of Adium (1.3.10) All without luck. This only happens for one account and only with Adium. I'm...
