Huh, Gchat just started working again in Adium. I'd check it in iChat too, if only I hadn't broken it completely while trying to fix it (and that's a topic for another forum ).

I haven't been able to get Google Chat to work with Adium or iChat since upgrading to Lion. In Adium I got the Spinning Beach Ball o' Doom at startup until I turned off my WiFi connection, disabled Gchat, and restarted the program.
