I just installed 2 scripts into Adium, Last.FM and /brb. They both cause the app to give me the spinny ball. I can only get out of it by Force Quitting. I dumped my prefs the other day, and put everything back to "scratch." I'm using the latest stable release. 10.4.9, also. Any thoughts? :...

Hard to say... unfortunately your system is producing well-nigh-useless crash logs :( If you get a chance, could you try removing the Quicktime plugin (just move it to another folder temporarily or whatever) and see if Adium still crashes for you?
