You should try to get it listed here as well: http://resexcellence.com/growl/
Any ideas on how to do that?

There must be a way to use an extension to send something to Growl and make this so much easier. ;)

Because, with 10+ windows open I hate trying to find two windows, the one with the file and the one with the ftp application. I know some people like expose or have other solutions, but personally don't see how anything is easier than having all my local files next to my remote files in one app. I u...

That's the one feature that makes me buy Transmit or another FTP client. I hate not being able to see both local and remote files at once in one application.

Have you checked out the Troubleshooting tips ? Maybe they'll give some good ideas to try. Oh and I mean no disrespect, but are you using the correct username and password? It happens that we all mistype info at times. ;) Just trying to help out. PS. My adium has been taking up words of a few minute...

Yahoo messenger is official. Meaning it can always connect. However, Yahoo may cause issues for third party clients like Adium and Proteus. Not sure what your issue is though. as I can connect.

Try deleting your profile in Adium and re-creating it maybe.

My Yahoo isn't connecting today. Other days it was slow to connect, but it worked. Today it's not going anywhere. :( Probably a Yahoo issue as Proteus doesn't connect either.

EDIT: Proteus just connected. Hummmmm.

EDIT 2: Now Adium did too. Odd.

We hadn't used the Address Book yet so it suprises me that was the issue. But it's fixed now and I'm so happy as I'm trying to get my wife going on a Mac and this wasn't helping. ;)

This is a long shot, but try repairing your disk permissions. It miraculously works every time. Just like wrapping a credit card in a plastic bag at a grocery store. Didn't help. Tried a few times. I accidently opened two tickets. http://trac.adiumx.com/ticket/3394 and http://trac.adiumx.com/ticket...

I can't put in a support ticket because Safari freezes too!!! Maybe it's a keychain issue??? But I checked and the keychain says it's all good. Address book also freezes.

No issues with System preferences or activity viewer though.

I'll try and submit a ticket with Firefox soon.

Thanks

[help] How to start Adium w/o auto connecting.

I have Adium setup to auto connect and now it just starts and the beach ball spins. I know there is a way to startup w/o auto connecting but I don't remember how.

Any help? Thanks
