Because, with 10+ windows open I hate trying to find two windows, the one with the file and the one with the ftp application. I know some people like expose or have other solutions, but personally don't see how anything is easier than having all my local files next to my remote files in one app. I u...

That's the one feature that makes me buy Transmit or another FTP client. Have you checked out the Troubleshooting tips ? Maybe they'll give some good ideas to try. Oh and I mean no disrespect, but are you using the correct username and password? It happens that we all mistype info at times. ;) Just trying to help out. PS. My adium has been taking up words of a few minute...

This is a long shot, but try repairing your disk permissions. It miraculously works every time. Just like wrapping a credit card in a plastic bag at a grocery store. Didn't help. Tried a few times. [help] How to start Adium w/o auto connecting.
I have Adium setup to auto connect and now it just starts and the beach ball spins. I know there is a way to startup w/o auto connecting but I don't remember how.
