Re: Beta 18 "Add to Safari reading list" does nothing
Sorry, make that "intermittently" - seems to be working sometimes and not others. I'll play with it and see if I can isolate.

Beta 18 "Add to Safari reading list" does nothing
Beta 18 "Add to Safari reading list" does nothing. Actually I think I noticed it in the prior version as well. Have Safari syncd w phone and have double-check there. Does work when adding from within Safari. No messages in system logs. OS X 10.7.5, Safari 6.0.5.

Open Reader login keychain password issue?
I think I came across an issue with Version 3.0.0 Beta 13 :20d15fc: incorrectly handling the keychain password for Open Reader login. After Google Reader I went all local with my feeds in Vienna. I had tried TheOldReader but that didnt work. Yesterday I decided to fork over $12 for FeedHQ. Set the c...

Re: error from The Old Reader: HTTP code 500
Clicking that link brings up an Old Reader page that says: This XML file does not appear to have any style information associated with it. The document tree is shown below. <errors type="array"> <error>Not found</error> </errors> I would think that refers to a Vienna xml file since Feeddle...

error from The Old Reader: HTTP code 500
Turned on Open Reader sync'ing in Beta 12 for The Old Reader. Successful Update Subscriptions from Open Reader (correct folders too). But all feeds return error: Connecting to Open Reader to retrieve https://theoldreader.com/reader/public/atom/51cb6b0182d49329560027bb HTTP code 500 reported from ser...

Re: Google Reader Sync
I've just noticed that I refreshed my view on GR web page and received 25 articles timestamped more than four hours ago. I'd read everything a couple of hours ago. Buggy Google? GR crawler refresh a feed using an internal algo (based on how many new articles a feed provide on daily/hourly basis). M...

FWIW, I've just noticed that I refreshed my view on GR web page and received 25 articles timestamped more than four hours ago. I'd read everything a couple of hours ago. Buggy Google?

Re: Google Reader Sync
This morning 2800.4 crashed on my 10.7.2 system during refresh. Can you paste a crashlog ? (of course if it appears on Lion). I'm doing a lot of code rewrite to handle correctly all OAuth response from Google (and yes, I'll support the dam new P3P privacy cookie...). This should fix all token expir...

Re: Google Reader Sync
Um... Let me re-state that. From time to time I'm still seeing articles fetched that date to 2009/2010/2011. Frequently, intermittently, but several times/day.Does make it more difficult to move among a couple of Macs running Vienna and Feedler o iOS. Each time the old/read articles show up in V it ...

Re: Google Reader Sync
2800.4 crashing Salvatore, Thanks for more significant improvements! The performance improvement is great. And after half a day of running 2800.4 I've seen far less -- though still some -- of old/read articles showing up as new/unread; and those that do frequently disappear after another refresh. On...

Re: Google Reader Sync
Salvatore,
The article showing a date of 12/31/69 is from 43Folders: http://feeds.feedburner.com/43Folders. I'm not sure but I think that when this happens it's always that site and of course now I'll watch carefully. Attaching screen shot.
Thanks,
-K

Re: Google Reader Sync
ViennaBeta (2800.3) high cpu usage
It's eating the system on refreshes. 100+ percent, fans racing, tons of log file entries, and referring to my other post about old/read records appearing as new/unread, slogs for a couple of minutes refreshing around 75 subscriptions.

Re: Google Reader Sync
Lots of old/read articles appearing as new/unread. Intermittently - but often - ViennaBeta picks up old/read articles as new/unread. Running ViennaBetta 2800.3 on 10.7.2 and 10.6.8.1, monitoring with GR web page from a browser on OS X and from Feeddler on iOS. Feeddler and the GR web page are always...

Re: Google Reader Sync
thanks! just updated and for once V on OS X seems to match Feeddler on iOS and my GR web view. I'll update my 10.7 system as soon as I can. I'd seen a few odd issues wrt unread counts & old/read messages and will report back after checking out the new version on 10.7 (my "main" system)...

Re: Google Reader Sync
S, you're awsome! Is this the right forum to post test results? I'm not a developer but have been using V for years now and do have some background in testing. Besides my 10.7.2 and 10.6.8.1 systems I've been using the free (non Pro) Feeddler on iOS to monitor feeds and have identified a few questio...

Re: Google Reader Sync
First, thank you very much for the effort you've put into this. I'm already enjoying it. I am having a problem with Google authentication with 2800.1. I put 2800.1 on my 10.6.8.1 system that had been running the last version prior to your GR integration. First I removed the app folder in Application...
