Hehe, ok, I 'solved' the sticky part. It's an option in the Growl prefenrence pane. Duh!
Right, 1 down, 1 to go: how to get the notification window to adapt to the number of textlines. Or, maybe be able to use a different size of notification window?

GrowLyrics to show iTunes lyrics
With my GrowLyrics applescript , I can read the lyrics of the current iTunes song as a notifcation. I hooked it to a Quicksilver trigger to make it systemwide available. Nice and all, but I miss some features I'd like to add. Since this is my sixth script, I haven't got a clue. I could use some brig...
