Re: [Feature request] Open YouTube page from embedded video
I see your point. In the feeds I subscribe to however, I very often want to open the YouTube page, and cutting and pasting is clunky. Perhaps this could be a user preference?

Weird, I know!

Re: Unread Articles don't display
Note that if I change it to:
READ is YES
I get a long list of the read articles. When I switch it back to NO, there's nothing in the list, even though several feeds currently have unread articles.

Its definition is like this:
Show all articles that match ALL of the following conditions:
READ is NO

Re: Unread Articles don't display
Not in this case, I'm afraid. No matter how many times I refresh or restart I don't see any articles.
The Unread Articles smart folder has simply stopped working for me.

Re: [Feature request] Open multiple articles in tabs at once
Thanks, barijaona, that's a good tip. I'll do that.
I do think this is what double-clicking on multiple selected articles should do.

[Feature request] Open YouTube page from embedded video
In Vienna, you can't currently click on the YouTube logo in an embedded video to open up the video's YouTube page (to read comments or whatever). It should allow you to do so.
The current workaround is you have to open the page in a browser and do so from there.

[Feature request] Open multiple articles in tabs at once
I always select the unread articles and open them in individual tabs to read them one by one. Right now I need to double-click on each article to have it open in a new tab. That can be a lot of double-clicking. It'd be great if I could select all at once and double-click on the entire selection to o...

Unread Articles don't display
I'm running Vienna version 3.0.0 Beta 9 :b47bfca:. Somehow I'm in a state where I see there are new articles, but they don't display in the Unread Articles smart folder. For a while even though it showed in the left column that there were 9 new articles for one of the feeds, when I selected that fee...

Re: ViennaBeta closing immediately
Thank you! Yep, the messages.db file must have become corrupt. This should go in a FAQ somewhere, the files Vienna uses, so it's clear how to do a full reinstall -- especially with the beta.

ViennaBeta closing immediately
I've been using ViennaBeta (3.x) for a while now. Suddenly when I try to run it, the icon will briefly bounce and then immediately end. There are no clues in Console. I was running 3.0b.2820, then installed 3.0b.2819, hoping that'd fix it -- no luck. I've wiped out uk.co.opencommunity.vienna2.plist ...

Re: Vienna crashing on Mountain Lion
It seems ViennaBeta 2819 has eliminated most if not all of the crashes. I haven't experienced one since installing it.
Unfortunately, it's created a new bug, which I report here:

Audio continues after tab playing video is closed
I'm running ViennaBeta 2819 under Mac OS X 10.8.1 (Mountain Lion). I've discovered that when you close a tab for a page that is playing video, Quicktime or YouTube, the audio continues right to the end even though the tab is closed. This appears to have cropped up just in this release -- previous ve...

Re: Vienna crashing on Mountain Lion
The majority of the crashes appear to be memory-management-related (dealloc and the like). Has any thought been given to putting the whole project under ARC?

Re: Vienna crashing on Mountain Lion
For a while I thought 2818 had helped with the crashes, but I've had so many crashes that I think it's just as bad. I'm attaching a bunch of crash logs here.

Re: Vienna crashing on Mountain Lion
Here are 5 more crash logs from ViennaBeta (3.0b.2817). I hope they're of some use. They all occurred when I was closing a tab (with either command-W or the tab's close button).

Re: Vienna crashing on Mountain Lion
Alas, the crashes continue when closing tabs on Mountain Lion in ViennaBeta (3.0b.2817). I'll collect more crash logs and post them all together later.

Re: Feature request: open multiple articles
I don't know to which version you are referring to, but I just tested the latest beta <https://github.com/downloads/ViennaRSS/vienna-rss/ViennaBeta3.0b.2816.zip> and it opens multiple articles. I'm now testing 2817 and it still doesn't do what I'm after. I can have multiple articles open, yes, but ...

Re: Vienna crashing on Mountain Lion
I have just uploaded a new beta (3.0b.2817) with the latest commits, which include an updated framework for tabs. I hope it will fix those crashes. Personnally, using my personal builds, I haven't encountered a crash for weeks. I am currently on Mountain Lion 10.8.1. How great you're on the case. T...
