I've noticed this as well. From what I can tell, the past conversations in the message window only take into account indexed logs, and logs are only indexed when you open the log viewer. You can always see if there's been an update and, if not, contact the designer about the issue.

I'm not sure what the definitive list is, but if you test it out with any of the packaged message styles you should be able to tell whether it's a style issue or an Adium issue.

I was having a similar problem due to an issue with the message stlye I was using. What style are you running and does changing it alter the behavior in any way?

I'm using the .8 release, and if I have an away message up for a while it will, at some point, change back to a message I had up before updating to the newest version (AIM protocol). The message to which it is changing is not saved, simply something random that was up before I updated. Any thoughts ...
