The only one i know of was for a previous version on Quicksilver, and doesn't work with newer versions sorry.

As I'm sure you read in the wiki, file transfer is pretty buggy in Adium. AIM file transfer is apparently greatly improved for the next official version of Adium (currently in beta stage). Looking at the pic of your router's ports, it seems to be set up properly to my knowledge, the only possibility...

What version of Adium and the Mac OS are you using?

First of all have you submitted it? If so if you choose your extra from My Extras there should be a option to Request Approval. Your extra will then be looked at by someone to make sure it is not malware.

Well are you logged in from another place right now? And have you tried restarting adium?

If you show Offline Contacts (In the View menu i think) does it show your contacts?

yeah i get this in MSN group chats too. Better group chat support is planned for Adium 1.5

m2e: Since the recent Mac update to OS X.4.8, I have found that Adium 0.89.1 does not work with Yahoo Messenger AT ALL. I even tried your suggestion to Desmond — and it didn't work. By latest version do you mean 0.89.1?
Try goin into preferences -> Accounts -> *Your Yahoo account* and then finding an option like Connect On Launch.

I think most use Adium for chatting and then go to a video chat client when video is necessary.

It's a long shot but every so often (twice in three years of using MSN) my account has just stopped working for a day or two (also happened to my brother). I'm just surprised you both had a similar problem at the same time.
