I tried downloading again, same problem. But , based on what you said I fond the Java preferences app in the utilities folder and told it to use 5.0 instead of 1.4.2 and now it seems to be happy enough.

Still has the same problem. It says it installs fine, but then this error appears when it tries to load it.
