those upload speeds sound normal to me. consumer DSL is asymetrical ... typically 4 times the upload speed as the download speed. 44KB/sec is actually 353kb/sec ... still 6 times faster than the theoretical max. of a 56k modem. it's definitely a drag if you have to upload bif files. i had to send a ...
