well, I think by the age of 13 you should know just about every cuss word in the book, and hearing one isn't going to turn you into a bad person. Thanks my take on it. But, lets get back to SPAM GUARD, I am going insane over here, does anything have any suggestions or solutions to this issue, gettin...

well, I see your point there, but I don't think children should be chatting away on the internet at freewill. Therefore, I don't see the point for children. When they do get old enough to chat on the internet at free will, they should be old enough to understand cuss words. I understand some people ...

well, this is for all you people out there saying you have never gotten any spam. GOOD FOR YOU. Up until last week, I was in the same boat, none. Well that all changed the other day and won't stop! I receive about 200 or more messages a day from some spam bot. I have tried blocking all the SN's but ...

as far as blacklisting, you have the block feature. For the past 3 days I have been getting an IM every 5-10 minutes from some annoying spammer for some dating site. They are using these randomly generated AIM names as well, so blocking is pointless. It is extremely annoying to say the least. Some s...

I don't want to take the chance of having to go through all that again. But, if you can think of a better reason for my permissions being changed on an external device, which hardwaregrowler is associated, within 5-10 min of installing growl and hardwaregrowler, be my guest. Until then, I will sit s...

Have you tried just quitting hardware growler/restarting the computer? yes and yes Also, just to see if it will mount, go to Disk Utility and select the drive in the sidebar and click mount. I did this as well, before posting. I have this strange kernel_task which now runs as process 0 under root. ...

HardwareGrowl Killed my Ext Firewire HD Mount
So, I installed Hardware Growl and now my Ext HD won't mount on my desktop. The volume is present and Disk Utility even verifies that the drive is mounted. I have unmounted and remounted several times with no luck. /Volumes jacob$ ls -asl total 40 0 drwxrwxrwt 8 root admin 272 Dec 8 02:49 . 0 drwxrw...
