i haven't tried for MSN but it's not working for AIM for sure

i'm using 0.87
and my roommate can block ppl without any problem.
it's just me who's having problem

i know there's block option
but even if i block someone they can still see me and send me messages

my blocking function is not working for some reason.
i'm using AIM and MSN with my adium.
it seems to be working fine with my friends, but for me i can't seem to block people.
does anybody have any idea??
