In the particular case of Vienna, it seems that the problem is that for each post, Reddit’s Atom feeds contain both a <content> and a <summary> item, and Vienna selects the <summary> because it appears after the <content>. Beginning somewhere over the past 10 days (after the 19th of January) Vienna started pulling reddit messages incorrectly. Where previously it pulled messages like this:

They now look like this:

Mac OSX 10.11.2, Vienna 3.0.9.

Now that we're in a new year, the date has changed--it's now marking posts with a year of 99, instead of 00. Any thoughts on possible causes/fixes?
