Hi, my only expectation is that it search Trash. I have no reason to search current articles, only that I remember seeing something and want to go back and find it. The filtering and speed have nothing to do with the issue.
Maybe Finder doesn't, but mail.app sure does and it's dang convenient.

Hi, 'all articles' was previously set. The search function doesn't work at ALL. I guess they still don't monitor this forum as I found messages from me dating back to 2010, all without any responses. Perhaps it's time to find other tools.

I have tried to use the search box in Vienna many times and I get zero results, even when I can clearly see the thing I was trying to find. Is there some bit I need to turn on for this to function? Pretty frustrating to have a search box and it never finds anything.
