Can you be a little more specific? Are you having trouble clicking on links in Adium, or making links in Adium, or is it something else?

I use bezel for mail notifications, and music video for just about everything else.

Try closing Adium, moving ~/Library/Application Support/Adium 2.0/Users/Default/Contact List.plist to the desktop, then starting Adium again. If this doesn't work, you can move the file back. If it does work, you will probably have to redo some of your contact list settings.

Hmm, it could be flakiness with your internet connection. I know stuff like that was happening during some network problems here.

For connection port, go to the options tab of the account. You can try changing the port to 80 to see if you can connect over http.

i remember having a very similar problem with stuffit at some point, and it was fixed by uninstalling and reinstalling it. I think the stuffit engine got borked somehow.

If I remember correctly, / scripts aren't supposed to work in away messages, only the % scripts. You can just type "%_track by %_artist from %_album" or something along those lines.
