Adium 1.1.1 Not Remembering Multi-Monitor Configurations

My understanding was that the newest version of Adium (1.1.1+) supports memorization of contact list position with multiple monitors. What I thought that this feature meant was, if I connected my MacBook Pro to an external monitor, it would move the contact list to the pre-defined position. Further,...

Perhaps. I'm a novice Adium user, but I'll look through on this topic and see what I can come up with.

Well, I can do that with my hiptop, but it's not as user friendly of course. Plus more people have AIM on their phones and other devices than ssh clients. At a minimum I would think it could be possible Adium to run a script, since it's scriptable. After all, Adium can autorespond to an IM while you...

Mac Remote Control Through Adium/AIM?

I did several searches for this, but couldn't find anything (so please be nice if I didn't use the right keywords ) I would really like to see the ability to remote control my Mac through Adium/AIM. What I'd like to do is have the ability to tell my Mac to sleep, perform some scripted actions...

Not something I know, though I was just trying to facilitate discussion that seemed to be happening before I was there.

Bringing the discussion back. Does the implementation used for Timbuktu seem of any value to some functionality here?

I agree that makes sense.

One thing I think would be nice is to be able to support Skype messaging. Then at least someone could attempt to have a call and you'd know you could start Skype. Of course if you could have a single interface that would drive Skype, that would be nice too.

Timbuktu Now Uses Skype

I know lots of people would like Skype on Adium and there have been posts to that end, yet I thought that this example could be of value towards an eventual implementation.

Thanks! After searching around I see that if I edit the layout (which didn't have that on as default), I found that by adding the (Idle) Status setting to my list brings it up. I suppose that I didn't see this option in the drop down, and I really appreciate your mentioning it! Thanks!!

Available/Away Messages In Contact Window

I'm a first time user here. I know that this MUST have been asked before, though I could not find anything related to this in several searches. As such, please refer me to some link discussing this. I'm looking for Available/Away Messages in the contact window (like iChat). This has been a very usef...
