Well, I can do that with my hiptop, but it's not as user friendly of course. Plus more people have AIM on their phones and other devices than ssh clients. I agree that makes sense.

One thing I think would be nice is to be able to support Skype messaging. Then at least someone could attempt to have a call and you'd know you could start Skype. Of course if you could have a single interface that would drive Skype, that would be nice too.

I know lots of people would like Skype on Adium and there have been posts to that end, yet I thought that this example could be of value towards an eventual implementation.

Thanks! After searching around I see that if I edit the layout (which didn't have that on as default), I found that by adding the (Idle) Status setting to my list brings it up. I suppose that I didn't see this option in the drop down, and I really appreciate your mentioning it! Thanks!!
