The problems cleared up after I followed the advice on the Apple webpage, which was to remove all plugins by deleting them. I was using the growl plugin from /library, not ~/library. I could re-install and see if it starts to happen again - would that help? I can't send a crash log because nothing c...

Growlmail causing problem
I've had to turn growlmail off, because it won't let mail shut down. Telling mail to quit has the effect of greying out a lot of menu options - including the 'quit' option, making me use force quit instead. Is this a reported problem? Are other people having it? I'm using 10.4.4 on a G4 powerbook. G...
