I'll turn on Grolw Mial again for an example...
It sends a huge record soncisting of several fields. Same with the Hardware monitor for every device mount--I use exteranl firewre drives and fash-drives and its annoying. I'll post a snippet as soon as I turn on Growl and get one.

OS X 10.4 Growl dumping screen-fulls into console
It is annoying. If I am debugging software, I have to wade through pages of text growl is dumping into the console. I tried turning off logging and any other option I could think of to no avail. So I have tunred off Growl for now. Anyone know how to put Growl in a 'quiet' mode wehre it doesn't send ...
