Can't get Net::Growl to work

I've installed Net::Growl via CPAN, and can't get it to do anything.... No errors, nothing logged by the firewall, just nothing happens. Even the example.pl script from the CPAN website does nothing. Can anybody get me going in the right direction? Does this script no longer work with the current ve...

I went ahead and reinstalled and looking fine.
Thanks for a great project, hope my venting didn't come out to critical.

Documentation update suggestion was my only real point.

growlnotify --sticky um, isn't

Am I misreading the man page?

 growlnotify --sticky 'Hi Mom' --message 'Im on tv!'
Shouldn't the notification hang around until I click on it?
It isn't.... It goes away after the default time out.
The 'sticky' checkbox in prefs doesn't seem to have any effect either...

Hi All Installed Growl, thought was interesting. Installed GrowlTunes and GrowlHardware - all ok. Installed GrowlMail and the cursing began. It never registered in the control panel.
