Haven't used Proteus in a while so I may be wrong.. but I thougt I always used Proteus for file transfers..

anyway, so libgaim seems to be the bottleneck.. i hope they implement it in the near future..

AFAIK transfering files happens with a direct connection between the two clients.. also, other clients like Proteus have a decent speed.

If somebody one day happens to find a way to create this easily.. it would be something cool to get new adium-users .

Hi, I configured my contract-list so I only see the user icons. It looks kinda cool but it would be even cooler if it had a Dock-a-like rollover sizing thingie. I think it would be a cool feature if Adium's contact-list would auto-hide when you are not working with it. Like the Dock can. And when you move your mouse to the side of the screen, the list appears above al other applications.

Ofcourse, this feature could be turned off if you like.

Thoughts?
