I did not see a checkbox, only a pulldown menu below.
What worked for me was viewing in List as opposed to Outline view.
Then I was able to drag the file onto the 'incoming' folder directly.

Is there a trick to getting cyberduck to upload to a write-only remote directory, aka drop box after FTP anonymous login?

A client of mine had a problem with this.

The dir permissions are 755 (drwx-wx-wx)
