And @The_Tick, I can't find a logs directory either. I don't know, what to try anymore, it seems I've tied everything. I'll just have to give up.

Two windows popped up. One saying that "Adium has shut down unexpectedly" and one saying "the crash reporter has shut down unexpectedly". That's all.

I did nothing other than klick "delete", whereupon the programme shut down automatically.

What do you mean?

The log viewer. Didn't know the word, I'm german, so most of the terms in the programme are different for me.

I already adjusted the preferences, but I still can't get rid of the thousands ans millions of old messages in the history folder. [/b]

Hi!

I wanted to delete my entire message history or at least part of it. I tried the obvious, pressing "delete", but every time (really, like a dozen times) the programme shut down.
Can anybody help me?
