Please describe which aspect of Adium you'd like to look more like iChat and we might be able to help you out.

As for an immediate solution, try visiting Adium Xtras - this site has many iChat inspired designs which will make Adium appear like iChat.

Trash <Your home folder>/Library/Application Support/Adium 2.0/Users/Default/libgaim/

When you trash that folder and restart Adium, hopefully that will fix up your problem.

Try checking in the ~/Library/Application Support/Adium 2.0/Sounds/ folder and see if there are any sound sets in the folder.

This is not a "bug", it's just their MSN client closing the chat connection. The "Conversation closed" and "Conversation timed out" messages should be removed since they will never function correctly. To me it seems that gaim gets a bit confused with timed out and conv...

As long as the two checkboxes are turned off, Adium will draw the fonts according to the specifications in the message style (I think). I might have been wrong in telling you to click the "Set Font" button.

Anyone else have any ideas?

I think, as embarrassed as I am in saying this, that the font that I was using (Verdana) is hard to distinguish between Helvetica when it's rendered at point 11 or 12 size as is shown in the MessageView. So I was confused there, my bad. Which leads me to another question, does Adium change the point...

But are the messages from you to the other person in the font that you specified?

If I message myself, for example, I always receive my messages in Helvetica, even thou I wrote them in Adium as Verdana.
