Try deleting ~/Library/Application Support/Adium 2.0/Users/Default/libgaim/icons.

If that fails trash the libgaim folder in totality.

I'm using the latest (10215) and whenever I've just signed on and click the status menu (or EDM) Adium dies.

Note, it seems to only crash when the log in sound is playing. If you sign on, leave it for about 10 seconds it'll do fine.

Man this is one suicidal duck.

Trashed everything (ie: Library/Preferences/com.adiumx.adiumx.com and Adium 2.0 folder) and it burned up.

I'll run svn update and see if it happens again.
