Yeah... although, when I've been away for hours and my computer's gone to sleep and disconnected Adium, it's annoying when I return and it signs me in as away. Maybe this is just a personal problem though.

There's a lot of hard work gone in since the 0.7x series, and it really shows. Adium is looking very polished.

The Yahoo icon is a bit glassy - vaguely 3d. Any chance you could give the msn butterfly a few hints of depth, to match?

If the whole program could hide in Dashboard - to be called upon at a key press - then that would be fairly cool. But I really don't see the use of just having my contact list there, personally - it just makes it harder to find.

did you uncheck the use icons in address book option? Yeah, and I don't have any problems when I do that. But it does mean that some of my contacts don't have icons, because they haven't set a picture. I am right in thinking that with my options set as they are, Adium should be giving Address Book ...

Well, I sent in an Adium crash report in the usual way. If you let me know how to send you details, I'll let you know if it happens again. I'm likely to play chess a fair amount

That's true with AIM, but I'm using MSN - I probably should have mentioned that. Contacts not in my address book - or in my address book but without a picture - update just fine without me needing to open a chat window to them. Incidentally, I just realised that it's not in fact just after opening A...

Using Adium .77 (so sorry if this is a known issue fixed in svn) - The pictures in my contact list for people with pictures in my address book (read it slowly, it does make sense!) do not update properly upon opening Adium. They show the address book picture, and update to the user's current display...

Download a dock icon, control-click on the package, choose "Show package contents" and have a look around. It's dead simple.

It's a delicate balance to strike between forcing failing schools / pupils to to follow a suitable course, and yet not restrict good schools from teaching bright pupils something worthwhile. Our current government has got it badly wrong in the UK.
