Think that's down to the message view. AFAIK, the text will select in the order it appears in the html - and due to CSS positioning, this is often not the order it appears on screen. What view are you using?

Are there set modules that are common to all schools in the US then?

The only occasions we ever have common modules over here are exam periods at 16, 17 and 18 - but even then, there are different exam boards and stuff who set different content.

I think the rupees were mine. I can't imagine you'd want to use them, but if you do that's fine.

Have you entered an account? Have you signed it on (File menu)? Is anyone online? Have you closed the window (apple / to open it again)?

A metacontact is a grouping of several screennames into a single entity - so, say, your friend Bob's Yahoo, AIM and both his MSN addresses. whenever one / more than one of these addresses is online, only a single contact will show up.

It's useful for keeping your contact list clean and well-ordered.

(1) any chance of logging not just "last seen online", but keeping a record of people going online, idle, etc. It would be useful at times, although I can see it might be a bit big brotherish, although i'm told Messenger Plus on windows does this. Yes please. (2) would it be possible to h...

- All Msn smileys, and the correct smileys to be shown in the convo depending on the client you are using. (for eg. if you are chatting to someone on msn, only the msn smileys pop-up, and if you are using AIM, then only the defaults pop-up) see http://help.msn.com/EN_US/frameset.asp? Has been discu...

I assume all clients support them - certainly the Mac client does, and it's not exactly feature-rich in other areas so I'd be surprised if others don't have the same functionality. Again, I only have experience of the Mac client here, but - the message displays exactly the same way (in brackets afte...

I'm a little confused, as Yahoo allows custom status messages, as well as having a few example ones "built-in" as it were. Do we really need all the Not At My Desk stuff?

MSN's the real PITA as far as status messages go :) [edit] on the user end, anyway...
