wouldn't that defeat the purpose of it being sticky? Say I get a sticky notification. It say around....5 minutes later I get a non-sticky notification. This replaces the sticky notification and 5 seconds later the Bezel fades out... why exactly was that original notification sticky again? If anythin...

Yah, this is a bad idea. Since these have nothing to do with growl's prefs. Growl Mail should be modified either in it's own prefpane or in the Mail one. It's not a growl plug in. It's a Mail plug in and this where people expect to change the prefs.
