fixing the CPU issue is great, but not really the core issue at hand. "does the Beta fix the connection problem" is the issue had hand :-} Right, but going on about the CPU issue doesn't help anybody either. Instead, it suggests it's a persistent problem. and, when will the beta stop bein...

Right, but the patch was made by a contributor to the SIPE project.

If you're looking for support, please contact the authors of the plugin. They don't frequent this forum as far as I can tell.

I've been told there were reports for Pidgin in their IRC channel.

It doesn't seem likely to be a yahoo problem as other agents are connecting without issue... seems to be specific to Adium Have you been able to establish that other chat clients consistently connect to Yahoo? If Yahoo is messing, what are Adium developers supposed to do about it?

As of this moment, it isn't clear if anything is wrong with the way Adium tries to connect to Yahoo.
