Do you have fast user switching enabled? This usually shows up when you use FUS to switch -- it may be getting confused.

There's some sort of problem with AppleScripts -- try removing any scripts from your profiles, MSN names, away message, etc. and see if that fixes it.

As zaudragon implied, it's not possible currently, and nobody is working on such a feature -- it's rather complex to do.

Re: a few questions from a new user

When I roll over some names, there stands their away message, when I roll over others theres stands "Away: Yes". If I then look at the Information about this user there is no away message visible. With licq I can get the away message from such clients. This happens for two reasons: First,...

Check the View menu and the various sorting options in it. You may be sorting things in a different way for some reason since the upgrade.

Off the top of my head -- delete the Adium entry in your keychain and reenter your password by hand when you next open Adium. This may clear up some strange keychain corruption.

Hehe, wouldn't that mean "made more dignified"?

I like it anyhow! ;)

Quick answer: not possible now, may be possible after we rewrite the status system, but I can't make any guarantees about if or when.

Nope, enumerators almost never promise orders. But, does the order of the emoticons *within* a set matter in any situation?

There is a strange (but known) bug in .73 related to this. If all else is ok (the messages still send correctly) then you can keep using it. Otherwise, .72 did not have the same problems, but we don't really recommend downgrading.

We don't like to talk about SVN here, because it usually has experimental features that may NEVER make it into an Adium release. Anyone can go see download the source, but we do NOT want anyone to think that this is a promise of what's to come. When someone says, "Oh that, it's in source alread...

Welcome :) You could try deleting your icon in Adium (click the icon view in the account's prefs and press delete) and then setting it in the official client -- that may help keep Adium from setting it over again.

I believe that the order of the accounts in the Accounts Preferences determines which one is used initially, and after that, it's whichever account you used to talk to that person last.

So, drag your accounts into the order that you prefer, and that should do it!

It is a known problem with setting an animated buddy icon -- but it is the fault of the Apple image picker, and we can't do much about it.

Except that we default to exchange 4 right now... I had heard that no others were ever used. Dang it, now I need to think up a reasonable interface for picking an exchange! :P
