I'm having the same issues on 10.3.9. Growl is at 0.6.2, Adium is 0.81. It registers with Growl, and I've talked to the Growl people on IRC to make sure everything was set correctly. I've never messed with much of the plugins, but what about a teeensy tiny plugin for it? Wouldn't be an issue with any of the Xtras, and wouldn't be a preferences issue.
