As answered before, Perian never exported anything, nor does it affect any export components.

Fix QuickTime. Perian isn't responsible for generating the thumbnails, QuickTime is. The only way Perian enters into it is that QuickTime asks Perian for information, which it provides.

Consider this an official request for the source. This means either a complete directory from which the binary is built or the exact SVN revisions numbers of all sources involved and all modifications made to said revisions.

IVain, repeating yourself solves nothing. If you have an issue with files written by mkvmerge 4.2.0+, then run them through an mkvmerge of an earlier version, as I stated in my first post in this thread.
