No more multiple buddy updates in message window?

So I just upgraded to 1.3b3 and everything looks great! I just have one gripe about it, and maybe I'm just not finding the right preference to fix this: In the message window, until this version, Adium used to show all of the latest status updates from buddies ("So-and-so went away/idle/offline...

Yeah okay so...in the 0.77 Public Release it simply tells me the person wants to send a file. In the 0.80 svn version, it at least goes to the File Transfer window (and does nothing). I tried this with the firewall on AND off, with the ports open. So uh...does anyone else have any suggestions?

Well, I had thought about trying that previously, but the firewall isn't even turned on. So theoretically aren't ALL the ports open?

Uh...

How can I open these ports if I'm using my AirPort as a router? I tried the port forwarding in the Admin Util, but you can't specify a range of ports. Do I just have to do them one by one, or is there an easier way? Sorry for the newbie question

Yeah, I didn't think so

But I figured maybe if you could do it with buddy pictures, you could with backgrounds...oh well, thanks for the QUICK reply.

Well that preference is just for their "buddy icon." This is just the small picture that appears next to their name, and the buddies usually have one of their own. In my request, I'm talking about the background picture that goes in the...um...background of the window. Hope that cleared it...

Contact-Specific Background Images

I know there's a poll about whether to have background images resize in the WebKit View (I think they should, by the way), but I'd like to ask to take this feature a step further. Would there be any way to be able to specify a picture for each contact? I know you can choose an individual "buddy...
