To translate at least some (and I think most) of the strings you've mentioned, look at the Localizable.strings file in English...

I don't do French very well... I can babelfish as needed, but English would be preferred :-) We're not quite done yet preparing everything for translation.... we are trying to minimize the number of nibs which have to be changed, allowing instead the localizable strings file to be the most signific...
