Ok thats it. Previously i had setup my growl notifications to display using bezel in the upper right hand corner. I then switched the display style to smoke. At some point i switched some display settings and it reverted my smoke display settings to the center. I fixed it by going back to bezel and ...

Smoke. When i hit preview it shows up in the right place but every growl notification shows up centered.

I know stupid question but i can't seem to locate where this setting is.

It used to show nicely in the upper right hand corner of my screen.... now it shows in the center of my screen..
