1.1.1 and MailMe
MailMe is working different ways on different machines: two of which are essentially identical hardware: One my old G5 Quad, MailMe works as expected with Grown 1.1.1, and SuperDuper 2.1.4 (OS X 4.10) On one new iMac Intel 2.83 24" (10.4.10), SuperDuper Growl MailMe works on GUI invoked backups...

How to completely uninstall Growl
I'm having trouble on one machine with Growl not seeing (or being seen by) SuperDuper. When I do a backup from the GUI, I get the mailme notification I've specified, but when the same setting is run from the SD schedular, nothing happens; Console doesn't show a Growl "notification," and no...

"Enable logging"
"rk wrote: Growl 1.1 looks great, but I have one question: Where's the GUI option to enable and disable logging of Growl notifications? This was removed in 1.1 from the pref pane. That was more a developer feature than a user feature. Redone logging is certainly possible in a future release (I ...

I had yet another computer on which MailMe failed, even though I had set up the Apple Mail program and tested it. It worked for a while, and then stopped. I turns out that my daughter (it is her computer) had subsequently set up Entourage (Microsoft) for mail, etc., and set that as the default mail ...

Mailme: what service is used?
I've got "mailme" working (mostly) on my computer; now I've installed Growl (in conjunction with SuperDuper!) on another computer with a completely freshly installed OS 10.4.6 and the developer stuff. Mailme fails there every time with a console log entry which says that growl could not se...

I had a feeling it was the war against spam et al. My isp (earthlink) is unlikely to open any more doors for spammers; they did respond to me, here is the text of the likely problem: * Your e-mail attempted to pass directly from a dynamically assigned IP range (such as dialup, cable, or DSL) to the ...

Growl "mailme" mail delivery system failure...
I set up grown to "mailme" on SuperDuper backup completion and/or errors. I tested it via "preview" and by running an SD backup. I received my email notification correctly. But last night, when my scheduled backup ran, I received no notification, though the console log for Grown ...
