2.8 seems to suck

sorry for the hard words but i think the new version goes the wrong way. i've used cyberduck because of it's handy and logic workflow. now i have to click here and there only to tell the application i want not to overwrite files. in the older versions i simply decide what to do with a single click. ...

i think it wasn't fixed? was it? umask is set to 0022 but cyberduck set them always to 0000 on upload. folders created by cyberduck works with the right permissions. options change permissions on upload and preserve mod date are unchecked… didn't helped. :-( any idea or better, any solution? thanks ...

really strange. tried and get the same error… normally i would say the problem is something at your hosting company but if you say other clients work w/o problems… mh sorry but i have no idea. :sad:

all other clients work fine? what filetype do you want to upload? maybe your transfer mode is incorrect.

didn't tested it but have you tried open a second browser window (command + n), connect separately to each ftp and then drag & drop the files? i dont't know if cyberduck support this feature but imho both ftp have to support "fxp" so the client could manage only the connections but not...

advanced permission-management?

first i'd like to thank d. kocher for this cool application. currently i'm a little bit in trouble cause i can't set default permissions for files AND folders separatly. setting the default file permissions work quite well but all folders aren't world readable cause of theire states at my local syst...

control click the file and select information… there you can set the permissions :)
