Ya I definitely want it in general, I'd just like to be able to stop it at certain times when it's flashing with a command key, which I would set to run an Applescript through a quicksilver trigger.

Hello there, I would like to have an Applescript (or another method) where, if I run it, it will stop the dock icon from flashing the names of people who have sent me messages. I have my messages come in through Growl so a lot of times (but not always) I just want to stop the dock icon from flashing...
