Ya, that's what I was referring to, and it's gross. Haha your opinion never wastes words. :P I don't really care about it either way, having only used iChat once for the longest time. This whole thread mainly stems from my curiosity as to whether or not it was technically feasible to put together f...

For Adium, do Show Package Contents on one of your Dock Icon sets, and edit the images… For another app, create an image with the graphic you want, and drag it into the image wells in Icon Composer (in /Developer if you have Xcode Tools). Save it, and drag it into Show Package Contents -> Contents -...

The only way to circumvent sleep is to use kernel extensions, which work at a very deep level and if they cause problems will at a minimum require a restart, if not much more. I'd attempt to get used to it, as it is a Mac-standard behavior (alternatively, you could just mute sound + display brightn...

It's always fun when you brace for impact and nothing hits you. How about this: while Vampire Hunter D is certainly better than Gundam, it's still only mediocre. *Assumes the previous position for impact bracing* Compared to cowboy b, it's godlike. *lunges past The_Tick to save The_Tick from TheSil...

He might vaguely look like Luke Skywalker; doesn’t he use a laser gun at some point?The_Tick wrote:Vampire Hunter D for the win!TheSilverFox06 wrote:Because Gundam sucks

And I think if he has a six shooter in hand, he won't look like a Jedi
EDIT: Even if he does, it wouldn’t matter much… right?

After trying Kopete out myself, I'd recommend to stick with libgaim. I've only tried Kopete with AIM but there weren't that many great features compared to what GAIM offers us. Also, it's AIM un-friendly from what I saw; I re-organized, deleted, and added a few buddies on AOL Instant Messenger and ...

And chatkit is ? Chatkit is a framework that will provide a lot of staff that IM clients need, like protocol implementations, AB integration, cool GUI stuff and anything else that we'll think is needed. Currently Chatkit has a bonjour plugin, and we're working on the API that programs will use. Hop...

Re: Wait out Libgaim 2.0
I would suggest waiting out libgaim 2.0... the codebase seems to have benefitted tremendously from this year's SoC (Google's Summer of Code) project entries. Features like NAT traversal and the like have made their way in, and the library seems largely revamped. I know there have been a number of c...
