Oh, you're right! The options were disabled, that's why it wasn't displaying. I had no idea they would be there. ^.^;

You're right, that does work, thejokell! Thank you!

Unfortunately, however, the "Flash names with unviewed messages" feature doesn't appear to do anything; the names still are not flashed when a message is received.

Oh, thank you! I'd checked the options, but somehow managed to miss that one.

A few Adium 0.80 requests

Generally I like Adium 0.80, but there are a few things in it that, at least in my opinion, don't work quite as well as they did in the older versions; so I'd like to propose options to let them work using the old behaviour. Firstly, the new version of the menu extra is actually a little *too* compl...

Adium crashes on a certain message

A friend was trying to send me a message on AIM with the text of this message; however, it crashed Adium every time he tried to send it. I assume that it's a problem with its exotic formatting.

I've been encountering this, too - it seems to be a libgaim issue, but no one seems to be fixing it. ^.^; I have the problem with a buddy who I certainly never moved anywhere with the official client, only with Gaim/Adium. Moving the buddy gives me a crippling amount of error messages - I don't exag...

I've found the problem with the buddy icons! WebKit is apparently now case-sensitive. The CSS used ".buddyIcon" before, which no longer works - changing those to ".buddyicon" in the appropriate CSS files fixes that up nicely.

Yeah it would be fantastic if someone was willing to update the Satin message view! I love it, hopefully someone is willing to fix it... The thing is, I'm trying to fix it, but I don't know JS well enough :) Read the topics posted above and one of them has the source of the problem. Good luck with ...

Satin message view style broken - anyone willing to fix?

I've just updated to 10.3.9, but have found that, unfortunately, my favourite message view style, Satin is broken. :( The scrolling is broken (as in other styles that use smooth scrolling), and icons appear full-size, which breaks it since it's expecting small icons. Would anyone be willing to help ...

I hadn't noticed it before, but scrolling a block of text when it's too long to fit in the text box also causes the same graphical glitch.

Display glitch when creating links in long messages

When creating a link in a message where the text is too long to fit in the text box, Adium glitches graphically.

Request: Detect log date by filename

After a little bit of wrestling, I was able to get Adium to import my Gaim logs. Unfortunately, however, it appears that Adium detects the date of a log not by the filename, but by the date created attribute of the file; and the result is that I now have countless logs marked for a single date and n...

Gaim log importer doesn't work

I've tried using the Gaim log importer from subversion, but unfortunately it's not quite working. It gives the following error: "Use of uninitialized value in concatenation (.) or string at ./gaim2adium.pl line 53." It then insists that every log it's trying to import already exists, and a...

Adium log format

I've been taking a look at the logs Adium writes in order to see how to convert my Gaim logs to Adium ones; however, I was wondering a couple of things. First, do the first three bytes mean anything? I was taking a look at one log, and it starts with three bytes (EF BB BF) before beginning the log i...

[request?] Buddy pounce

I gave Adium X a first try a little bit ago, and quite liked it, but found that it seemed that it was missing one feature I use extensively: Gaim's buddy pounce. (For those who don't know, this feature lets you create a "pounce" that is performed on certain events; for instance, I have it ...
