I was trying to move all my buddies into one category and it appeare like it was working. I got an error message that said "can't add buddy" but i just ignored it becasue it appeared in the new group when i was down. However, I shut downand logged back on and now all those contacts are gone! I reallly need to get these back, can anyone help??

I believe there is a way to recover your buddy list using some preference files that are stored within Adium. I just don't remember where the script is...

ahh, found it. Keep in mind that it only works for AIM: http://evands.penguinmilitia.net/Adium- ... Export.zip

The resulting file can be imported using the official AIM client.
