2 questions regarding email notifications

hey all

sorry if this has been touched on.

i was wondering 2 things. the first being is there a way for the new email alerts (the boxes that tell you who its from and the subject) to be grouped together so if i am away from my computer and i recieve a few or more emails there isnt a bunch of boxes on my screen but instead one with all of the info.

also, is there a way to set it up so it tells me when i have new mail from my home internet provider and not just hotmail?

any info on this would be great.
