Using dock icons as your buddy icon?

What is the correct way to go about using the 'duck style' icons you see in the dock as your buddy icon / avatar? ass seen here:

I know I can change my account icon by gragging a picture but how do you go about dragging over installed dock icons?

On another note, when I downloaded dock icons from the site, I found two files in the zip, one was inside a folder "MacOSX" or similiar, which one should I double click to install?

When installing the yodo icon I clicked both and found at first it just created a blank space where the icon should be.

1. Go to the dock icon located in ~/Library/Application Support/Adium 2.0/Dock Icons

2. Right-click (or control-click) on the desired dock icon and select "view package contents".

3. Use the desired picture for your buddy icon.
