General Buddylist Help

Post by rabow »

This isn't specifically pertinent to Adium. But it's certainly related! I signed on this morning to AIM using iChat, added a username to my buddylist, and then signed off. Now, several hours later, I logged on to AIM using Adium and have found that I have no more contacts on AIM.

A quick check on iChat and the official AIM client (which I hadn't even installed on this computer yet) confirmed that all my contacts had been wiped from the main AIM server.

Does anybody know of a way to reconstruct the buddylist using old preferences, logs, or maybe even the address book, using either Adium, iChat, or AIM? Thanks!

Edit: Signing on again 15 minutes later, and the buddylist is reloaded. Über-strangeness. Definitely doing the AIM Export now as backup again, just in case...
