If you show offline contacts (in the View menu), do your contacts show up?

I'm running into the same problem: AIM buddy list will not show up, others cannot see me online, but the offline buddies (ie, all of them) show up. Anyone have any ideas?

the same thing happens to me on my MBP as well...All of my buddies are in the list, just set as offline. If I leave Adium on, the buddies will randomly show up eventually. The weirdest part is that when Adium does not work, neither does iChat it says "the connection to the server was interrupted unexpectedly." Maybe the problem isn't a bug with Adium it's a problem with the OS.

Also, this didn't happen when I first got my MBP this summer, it just started doing it a few weeks ago.

Ok, so i just changed the port (from 5190 to 5180) and everything is working fine now. I don't understand it, but it works.
